Crystalline Echo | Hand-Built Ceramic Sculpture in Soft Celadon and White

$360.00

Crystalline Echo is a vessel that feels both earthy and ethereal. The surface reveals layers of white crystalline drips over soft celadon glaze, with subtle warmth at the rim. The gentle undulation of its form speaks to the beauty of imperfection and the natural world. The glaze flows like weathered patina, evoking natural erosion, aged surfaces, or lichen-covered stone. Its subtle green and white tones give it a serene, almost ethereal presence, while the warm, unglazed edges offer a tactile reminder of the raw clay beneath.

This piece invites contemplation, capturing the beauty of time's passage and the quiet elegance of imperfection.

Part of my ongoing sculptural Absence and Presence series, these pieces invite stillness and contemplation, asking the viewer to consider the space within as integral to the form itself. These vessels are shaped as much by what is missing as by what remains. Each form holds space — for breath, for memory, for what cannot be seen. The voids are intentional: an expression of the unseen forces that shape us.

Dimensions: 6 inches high x 5.5 wide

Material: Mid-fire clay with celadon and white crystalline glaze

Signed and one-of-a-kind
